Meet new people on a live 1:1 video call - no account, and no paywall on matching, Duo Mode, or AR lenses. Bring a friend on camera with Duo Mode. The name comes from ajnabee, the Hindi/Urdu word for stranger. 18+ only.
A free random video chat platform for meeting strangers online - built for adults who want the classic stranger-chat experience with modern safety and features.
Aznabee connects you with a random person for live video or voice chat in your browser. There is no account wall: allow camera and microphone access, choose a mode if you want, and start matching. Conversations are one-to-one by default, with optional Duo Mode so you and a friend can meet strangers together.
Under the hood, calls use WebRTC so audio and video can travel peer-to-peer when the network allows, with STUN/TURN helping connections succeed across home and mobile networks. You can skip anytime, mute or hide your camera, use AR filters, and report users who break the rules. Aznabee is for adults (18+) only - see our safety guide and child safety pages for expectations.

A quick primer on the genre Aznabee belongs to - and how it differs from calling people you already know.
Random video chat is a category of website (and app) that pairs you with a stranger for a live audio/video call, instead of connecting you to a contact list. There is no friending, no profile browsing, and no algorithmic feed to scroll - you press a button, a matching system picks another online visitor, and a call opens between your two browsers. When the conversation ends, you can request a new match immediately. This loop - match, talk, skip, repeat - is the entire product.
The idea traces back to sites like Chatroulette and Omegle, which popularized “click to talk to a random person” in the late 2000s and early 2010s. What made the format spread was its simplicity: no sign-up wall, no waiting for friends to be online, and a constant supply of new people to meet. Random video chat is deliberately different from tools like Zoom or FaceTime, which exist to talk to people you already know by appointment. Here, the discovery of a new person is the feature.
Under the hood, most modern random video chat platforms - including Aznabee - use WebRTC to move audio and video directly between browsers wherever possible, with a signaling server only used to introduce two strangers and exchange connection details. That is why calls often feel instant: once the two sides establish a direct path, most of the data does not need to touch our servers at all.
What separates a good random video chat experience from a bad one is almost never the “random” part - it is everything wrapped around it: how fast matching is, whether the platform tries to catch abusive behavior, whether you can join with your camera off, and whether you can bring a friend along instead of always chatting solo. Aznabee was built to answer each of those with modern tooling: on-device AI moderation, camera and mic controls from the first second, and Duo Mode for chatting with strangers as a pair.
From the Start button to a live stranger - a simple loop you can repeat as many times as you like.
Your browser asks for camera and mic so WebRTC can create a local preview before matching.
You join the matching queue. When another adult is available, both sides receive a match and open signaling.
Browsers exchange offers and ICE candidates. STUN or TURN helps the call connect; then encrypted video/audio starts.
Talk, send text, use filters - or skip to the next stranger and start the loop again.
Matching works off a simple queue: when you hit Start, your session enters the pool for 10-minute video calls. As soon as another visitor in the pool is available, the system pairs you and opens a private signaling channel used only to set up the call - it does not carry your audio or video. When the timer runs out, you are matched with someone new.
The connection itself is built on WebRTC, the same browser standard behind Google Meet and Discord video calls. Both browsers gather ICE candidates (possible network paths), try a direct peer-to-peer route via STUN first, and fall back to a relayed TURN path if a direct route is blocked by a firewall or NAT. Media is encrypted end-to-end between the two peers using DTLS-SRTP, the same encryption WebRTC uses everywhere.
AI moderation runs alongside the call. A model in your browser checks one frame of your outgoing video every 1.5 seconds for nudity. If a frame is flagged, the other person sees a black screen instead of your video until your feed is clean again, and repeat, high-confidence detections lead to a block. This runs in addition to - not instead of - the report button in every chat.
Duo Mode changes the matching step slightly: two friends connect to each other first in a private room, then the pair - not just one person - is matched with a stranger for a three-person call. Everyone still sees the same skip and report controls; the only difference is that you are not chatting alone.
Everything you loved about Omegle, rebuilt from scratch with AR filters, AI-powered safety, and a way to bring your friends along.
Real-time AR lenses built into the video chat, in desktop browsers and the Android app.
Unlike the original Omegle, video is screened on-device every 1.5 seconds while you chat.
Bring a friend along and meet strangers together - something Omegle never offered.
Talking to strangers works best when the platform - and you - both take a few precautions.
AI moderation. Every video call on Aznabee runs alongside an on-device model that screens outgoing video for nudity every 1.5 seconds. When it flags a frame, the other person stops seeing that video right away, and repeat high-confidence detections get the device blocked from matching - whether or not anyone reports it. It cannot catch everything, which is why the report button exists.
Reporting and blocking. Every call has a report button, available the moment you connect. Reporting a stranger captures the context needed for a review and immediately lets you skip to a new match. Accounts and devices with repeated, confirmed violations are blocked from the platform; blocked users can request a review through the appeal flow shown on their block screen.
Anonymous by design. You do not need an account, email, or phone number to chat, and no conversation is displayed publicly or saved to a profile. That said, “anonymous” refers to the platform, not to what you choose to say on camera - never share your full name, address, workplace, school, or financial details with a stranger, no matter how the conversation is going.
Practical habits that help: keep the first few minutes of any chat generic, join with your camera off if you want to hear someone before showing your face, mute or turn off your camera anytime with one tap, and skip immediately if a conversation feels off - you never owe a stranger an explanation. For a longer walkthrough, read the full video chat safety guide and our child safety page. Aznabee is for adults 18 and older only.
Random video chat draws a wide mix of people - here are the most common reasons visitors come to Aznabee.
Practicing a language is far easier with a live native speaker than with an app. Random matching means you can land a conversation partner from another country in seconds, any time of day.
Before visiting a country - or when you cannot - talking to someone who actually lives there gives a perspective no guidebook or forum thread can match.
Not everyone wants a dating app or a group chat with strangers already in it. Random 1:1 or Duo chats are a low-pressure way to meet someone new with no profile to maintain.
Duo Mode is popular with pairs who want to chat with a stranger together - comparing setups, swapping recommendations, or just having a second person around for the conversation.
Many visitors are simply looking for the classic Omegle-style experience after its 2023 shutdown, with better moderation than the original had.
Sometimes the appeal is just the format itself - an unscripted conversation with someone you would never otherwise meet, with no algorithm deciding who that is.
